TurningPoint


TurningPoint transforms the standard lecture PowerPoint presentation into a powerful interactive learning system that engages students in active participation. Professors can display questions, surveys, opinion polls and games that allow every student in the class to select a response via their wireless ResponseCard keypads ("clickers") and transmit the data immediately to the presentation. Track attendance, assess student learning retention, prompt student interaction, even award participation points or deliver quizzes and tests via TurningPoint's interactive learning system.

 

To Start Using Turning Point

  • Faculty can download TurningPoint software for free from the Faculty software download site, see the WebCT Help channel on Faculty Academics tab of the myEdison portal for login instructions.
  • Hardware (clickers and a receiver) is available for evaluation or loan, contact training@edison.edu for information.
  • Regular use requires the purchase of a set of clickers through your department.
